The UCSF Orthotics and Prosthetics division is co-sponsoring this special event benefitting care, research and advocacy for those with physical challenges.

The professionally timed, certified one-mile and 5K course welcomes everyone -- elite runners, weekend warriors, amputee blade runners, biomechanics researchers, wheelchair athletes, high school cross country teams, and first-timers.

The one-mile distance is both accessible, and uniquely challenging. All proceeds go to The Bionic Project, a rapidly growing non-profit that brings together the adaptive and able-bodied sports communities.
